Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known for playing Violet Plunkett, in CBS the sitcom Mom. Calvano is from California, and was interested at first in the sport of competitive gymnastics. However, she later determined to pursue a career in acting. Her debut on screen was the 2010 episode of CBS's 'NCIS. She made her big-screen debut within a year in the biographical drama film "J Edgar". Over the years she's established herself as one of the most promising actors in today's field. In 2011, she received the Young Artist Award nomination for the top Actress on a TV Series and Guest Actress 11-15. Her role as a special guest on Disney XD's comedy 'Kickin' It' was nominated once more for the Young Artist Award. Calvano played a role in a handful in the episodes "Mom" in its fourth season. She was a main role in the initial three seasons of the show. In 2015, she received the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her performance in Mom.
